PERSONALITY At first glance, Labubu seems to be your typical trickster elf, happy to stir up trouble, startle people, and cause general mischief. Not to mention she seems very child-like, so she enjoys bullying others if it give she a good laugh. Although that could also be seen as a form of affection. One could argue that all of the denizens of the Fairy Forest like this — but Labubu is far tamer than most creatures you will find. While others may try to cause you misfortune and trick you into causing your own death, Labubu would much rather keep you in one piece and not mentally scarred for the rest of your life. Despite her appearance, Labubu is a good person deep down and has a heart of gold. If someone needs cheering up, you bet she'll put her all into it... even if it doesn't work out. While she generally has good intentions, Labubu is somewhat clumsy, often causing good actions to blow up in her face, or for already bad things to turn worse. She tries her best though and means well for the most part. If given the choice, she'd rather see you smile than run away shrieking. Most of the time. She is a child at heart, and sweet as children can be, they can be rather cruel without meaning to, which applies to Labubu as well. Try to take it at face value. If told what she's doing wrong, she will listen and try to better herself. Most of the time. There are moments where if you tell her to stop doing something, she'll continue to do said thing. (Such as brushing her fur the wrong way if you tell her to brush it correctly.) Although she doesn't have much experience directly interacting with humans, Labubu is very observant — watching and learning, scheming. However, when shown respect, she offers it in return, hoping to be a gracious host and friend. Labubu enjoys a great many things in life. Music, singing (even if she's not the best at it), playing, games, pranks, her boyfriend Tycoco, The Forest, Zimomo, Mokoko, making friends, and watching the sunset.

ABOUT Labubu is a species of Nordic elf called "Labubu." Labubus come in many shapes, colors, and sizes but the majority look like her, although the biggest is her older brother Zimomo, who stands as tall as two Labubus and has a tail with spikes on it. Some say there are over 100 Labubus! Where they came from, no one is certain but they've been around since prehistoric times. All Labubu have nine teeth. The number three is associated with elves in Nordic Folklore so 3x3=9. They have various scars on their ears because all of the Labubu like to bite each other and wrestle. They also seem to have a habit of scratching their butts. A lot. Labubu lives in the Fairy Forest with a small tribe of other elves and spirits, who call themselves "The Monsters," led by her brother Zimomo. Labubu spends most of her days having fun and causing mischief, hanging out with her friends, and terrorizing her boyfriend, Tycoco. It's a good life being a Labubu. APPEARANCE Stands at about 2 feet tall, fuzzy brown fur covers her entire body except her face, hands, and feet. Feet and hands are clawed. Has a wide mouth with nine serrated teeth always showing. Cheeks are slightly rosy. Her ears appear bunny-like but are closer together on her head and slightly pointed at the tips. Brow always furrowed regardless of her expression. Has dark brown eyes. Her voice sounds like this. Young, juvenile, tends to say variations of "labubu" in her sentences. NOTES Labubu's characterization is loosely based off what information of The Monster Trilogy is available, the POPMART shorts, and the POPMART LAND stage shows. I play her with her appearance closer to how she appears in the 2017 era of the books/art rather than how she looks currently. (Although I love every iteration of her.) Labubu is aware of the 4th Wall Breakage that is the POPMART plushie line but will keep things vague as to what she knows and understands about it. Shhhh~ I pull from Nordic/Scandinavian mythology for the tribe and other creatures that live in the Forest along with her, such as Labubus possibly being inspired by Scandinavian spirits called Rå. While her age is ambiguous, I play Labubu with the mentality of a human child of 8-10 years. She has an understanding of most things in life but is still very childish in her views. Her username translates to "mischievous elf" in Norwegian.
